This is an annual event held to honor the memory of Hunter's Creek resident and tennis advocate, Peggy Bruenig, who passed away in 2004. The tournament began in 2005 as a testament to Peggy's contributions to Hunter's Creek and specifically, what she accomplished for the tennis community.

This is a family event that attracts thousands of kids to Osprey Park each year. Originally sponsored by the HC Women's Association, there are games, food, and photo opportunities. Bunny in the Park featuring a Marshmallow Drop!

| Annual HC Golf Tournament in Memory of Larry Scott |

Each year, we hold a golf tournament to honor the memory of Larry Scott, who made a great impact on the community of Hunter's Creek. Proceeds from the day go to the Juvenile Research Diabetes Foundation.

| Fourth of July Celebration |

This is the largest event of the year, when everyone gathers to honor our nation's birthday. This huge celebration takes place at Osprey Park, with several thousand attendees. A carnival with games and rides is featured and vendors are on hand with food and items to sell. The day begins with a flag raising ceremony.

Our largest multi-night event is growing so fast it's "scary." Planning for the event begins as early as January; the concept is designed and constructed by volunteers in Hunter's Creek.

This year's fall festival will be a Recreation Department event and will feature a costume contest for the kids, carnival games, food, music, community vendors and much more!

| Turkey Trot |

 This is a 5K Fun Run/Walk through the streets, parks, and neighborhoods of Hunter's Creek. Race participants will receive an event t-shirt, snacks, water, and prizes. Kick off your Thanksgiving week with a day of fun, family, and fitness and get a head start on losing those extra holiday pounds! Proceeds benefit local recreation and charitable organizations.

Each year, Hunter's Creek celebrates the magic of the holiday season with local schools and talented musicians from right here in our community! This free concert invites our residents to come out and enjoy the sounds of the season along with hot chocolate and other holiday treats. The concert is usually held in early to mid-December...watch the magazine and website for more details on this fun family event.
