The Cypress Pointe neighborhood, located on the north side of Hunter's Creek Blvd, just west of John Young Parkway, is a small, intimate community. We have only two streets within Cypress Pointe. The first is Amaca Circle, a true circle around the neighborhood, and a favorite for walkers and bikers. The second street, Talapo Lane, bisects the Circle and provides a short-cut for the younger biking crowd. We have 94 homes and a centrally located lake. Our neighborhood logo, a white, stylized evergreen tree on a green background, flanks the lighted entrance to the Circle.
Cypress Pointe is bounded by the Calabay Cove neighborhood to the west, the Colonial Grand at Hunter's Creek apartments to the east, and a Conservation Area on the north side. A bike/walk path leads from the northeastern corner, along the Conservation Area, past the Hunter's Creek Elementary School, and ends on Town Center Blvd. Our location is ideal for a quick drive or bike ride to the shopping center for snacks or videos.
The Palm Beach-style homes are from the Pulte and Olympia builders. The first home was purchased in November of 1990 and is still owned by the original owner. The last new home was sold in August of 1993. About 90% of the homes are owned by residents.
